Calling to mind a set of customized LEGOs for grownups, the Confluences sectional by Ligne Roset is a playground of shapes, sizes and colors. And it’s an amusement park of configurations.

French designer Philippe Nigro found his inspiration in the differences of his seating subjects—from people’s varying physiologies to their disparate styles and tastes.

“Confluences is a ‘reconciliatory’ settee since it draws inspiration from such differences,” Nigro says.

Each unique piece differs in its height and depth, color options and shape.

Can’t figure out the right color combination? The designer has created 27 different preconfigured color pairings for the design-challenged.
