Pass Labs has announced a new monoblock amplifier, the X260.5.

The amp has the design technology and refinements found in Pass Labs' other X Series amplifiers.

All the info after the jump.The X260.5 has Pass Labs' patented "Super-Symmetry" topology, which matches both halves of a balanced amplifier. Pass claims this improves performance by lowering distortion and noise by a factor of 100.

Pass promises the X260.5 will remain consistent and stable across the audio range and at all speaker loads. Power is rated at 260 watts.

There is an balanced XLR input as well as an unbalanced RCA input.

The X260.5 will be available in January, and will be shown at CES in Vegas as well.
