Hook up your computer via USB (or any digital source via coax or optical) and the 300D upsamples to 24-bits/352.8kHz.
The bane of all digital audio is jitter, which Simaudio claims is "virtually a non-issue" thanks to their proprietary digital clocking.
You can input any digital signal from 16-bit/44.1kHz all the way up to 24-bit/192kHz. This gets fed to a BurrBrown PCM1793 DAC and an 8x oversampling filter.
Inside you'll also find pure copper board tracings and an over-sized power supply with "8 stages of voltage regulation."
The 300D is available now.
PRICE:
300D: $1,600
