Bigger sound, lower price

Soundmatters has updated their tiny foxL loudspeaker to sound better, be easier to use, and even cheaper than the original.

All the info after the jump.

If you're not sure what the big deal is, check out our review of the original foxL. It sounds far better than you'd expect for a tiny little speaker unit.

The foxL V2 is 3 dB louder than the original. That may not seem like much, but that's an impressive increase in volume for something so small and battery powered. The drivers in the V2, which Soundmatters amusingly calls "Twoofers," have been redesigned to offer "smoother deeper bass, even more open & airy listening experience," according to the company.

They also improved the range with Bluetooth, by a claimed 3 times.

The V2 ships this month and is also available without Bluetooth for even less money.

PRICE:
foxL V2: $199
without Bluetooth: $169
